Alienware X51 R3 - Is DDR4-2400 ram compatible?
Currently running DDR4 -2133 RAM, is the DDR4-2400 compatible with this motherboard? If this is compatible do I need to do anything else in the bios?
I am looking at Crucial and they have the follow RAM listed as compatible with the X51 R3:
They have DDR4-2666 in addition to the DDR-2400 listed.

Hi,
This is the memory type:
Support for DDR4 SDRAM Memory (Non-ECC only) 2133 MHz.
The memory is over-clocked to 2400 MHz or 2667 MHz
Supports 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, 32GB DIMMS
We've checked the specs of this device and compared it with the requirements of the Alienware you own. It seems like the RAM does comply with all the requirements, however we cannot guarantee the full compatibility due to the fact that the device you're trying to install isn't sold or preinstalled in our machines. Your best bet is to ask this in users forums where others may have done this upgrade on their machines. A good place to start would be AlienwareArena. Then, you could also look into NotebookReview.

Thanks, I'm using this RAM below at the moment, but am unable to get it to run at 2666 MHz, it's native speed.
Corsair Vengeance 32GB - DDR4-2666 MHz:
www.amazon.com/.../B0134EW44S
I am able to run it at 2400 MHz at 1.2 volts no problems. But setting it to 2666 MHz it doesn't boot using 1.2 or 1.3 volts.
Do you know if there's going to be a bios update that allows for this in the future?
Is there an option in the bios for XMP support for the ram? I didn't see anything in the options.
