Alienware resource DVD question ?
Hi, I have just purchased a used Alienware M15x laptop and with it came two discs. One is Windows 7 premium and the other is M15x Resource DVD. What is the Resource DVD for ? The system has Windows 7 installed but no Alienware software. Things like the touch controls above the keyboard some work some do not the volume and eject work but the Alienware command center button does nothing ? I presume this is because the software is not installed for it ? Sorry if my question are basic but I've not owned a windows PC for over 10 years so little rusty ! Regards Tim

That disc includes drivers for the computer and actually is not that necessary as you can get all the drivers from the Dell website: support.dell.com.
The system is probably missing the Command Center and the OSD driver. Click here to get the Command center and here to get the OSD.
