Any disadvantage to always enabling SLI?
Hi,
I have purchased an Alienware Area 51 with 2 GTX980 GPUs. I have enabled SLI and currently only use 1 display.
Is there any disadvantage to enabling SLI? It was not enabled when I received the rig but I assume that it always improves GPU Performance when they work together, right?

Hi,
I don’t believe there is a disadvantage in enabling SLI. There are some games that do not support SLI, but all that will happen is that your second GPU isn't used at all.
