Alienware Command Center will do that if you set it to do it. Did you open it up and check the settings yet? You should see an Alienhead down in your system try. Click that to open it.

Right click on TaskTray Alienhead.
Unselect option "Enable 3rd Party AlienFX Access."

Don't be afraid to play around with the Alienware Command Center. It can do some really cool stuff as you just found out.
