Crucial BX100 SSD And Alienware 13

Hi, I recently bought a 500GB Crucial BX100 SSD as a replacement for the 1TB HDD which came with my unit. This is after checking Crucial's website to see if their SSD is compatible with my laptop. I installed it and booted from the recovery media. During the recovery process, instead of restoring to the SSD, the AlienRespawn utility formatted my external HDD (recovery media) and then installed the files there which shouldn't be the case if the Crucial SSD was detected during the process. I've read older posts here and it seems that all(?) Crucial SSDs are somewhat incompatible with Alienware 13. Will this compatibility issue be fixed via future BIOS updates?
