Defragmenting Hard Drive
I put a second 2tb hard drive in my Aurora R3. I use a program Diskeeper that is supposed to keep my two hard drives defragmented on the fly. My original drive stays perfectly defragmented. My new drive was 35% fragmented. The new drive has about 300gb on the 2tb drive. I use TuneUp 2012 as my system maintenence program. I initiated defragment on the new drive. It has been defragmenting for hours and the status bar only shows about 1/3 complete. It doesn't seem like it should take all day to defragment 300gb on a 2tb hard drive. Any idea what is going on, and how I can get more system information to see if there is some sort of problem?

Hello,
Click here to access the Dell PC diagnostics. Choose "Component" as the diagnostic type, and scroll down on the components until you get to the "Hard Drive Stress" and click on "Run Diagnostics". That will take a couple of hours, please post back with the results.

I tried what you suggested and it was taking forever so I cancelled. How long should this diagnostic take?

The Diagnostic takes about 2 or 3 hours to complete...I apologize for not mentioning it before.
