Issue with AlienFX, keyboard not lighting up

I just got my brand new Alienware 14 a few days ago. Everything worked fine, still does. The only issue is that nothing will stay lit up anymore. When it first starts the keyboard and touch pad will light up for a few seconds and then turn off. I have uninstalled and installed the Command Center half a dozen times and still nothing has changed. I don't know what to do. I thank you ahead of time for your assistance.
