No boot problem with aurora alx

Hello, I'm stuck! My aurora froze after pressing the bios update button on the dell web page and when I restarted the computer it will not boot! I have followed every step on your videos and in the Manuel like pulling the memory out, removing video card, deleting the CMOS, and to no avail. The computer turns on, fans run but does not get to dell logo screen. I hear no beeps when it is on and it sounds like it is running normal. Any suggestions?? Thank you for any input.

Try removing CMOS battery for a while.

You might have "bricked" it.

For an Aurora R1 (x58 chipset) If you were already running A09 or higher ... I would not have messed with it.

Well installed the new motherboard and the computer is still doing the same thing. I turn it on and the fans spin up but monitor turns on nor do I never get to see the start up screen.. I hear no beeps still..... Anyone have an idea of what causes this?

Either:
- the new motherboard is bad
- something you carried over is bad (cpu, etc.) or improperly installed
- something left in the machine is bad (power supply).

Disconnect everything inside except the bare minimum. Something might be shorted and holding the system down (but you might not really need it to boot).

Good luck.

Playing with the BIOS is bad, mkay? If it works don't FIX IT! My rule is never update it unless it has a fix you need. It's not worth the trouble.
