Reliability of newer Alienware models

I purchased an Alienware M17x R4 in exactly 3 years ago and have had more problems with it than anything I have ever owned. The first day I turned it on I was having blue screen problems and the next week I was getting a refurbished motherboard on a brand new $2800 computer. I endured but over the last few years I have had the motherboard replaced 3 times, Lcd screen and cable, video card, and the heat sink and fans. I neglected to send it back for a long time after the monitor not being fixed because I didn't want to be without a computer for a week. I finally sent it there a week ago and was told the part needed is no longer carried and I will need to have it replaced with a refurbished computer of similar parts. I plan on selling the refurbished computer and buying a new gaming laptop. I just want to get a reliable gaming laptop and after my first Alienware, I am not convinced it will fit that. Is anyone having problems with the newer Alienware Products?

as of alienware 17 r2 your main problem will be bios fan profile. your hand will be burning while playing. cpu temp reaches to 90 degree celcius plus on there latest bios which is a05. basically the life span of your laptop won't be that long and you have to buy a new one.. more money for dell.. LOL.. and more about heat problems is doing a repaste on cpu and gpu. you have to completely teardown your laptop to be able to change thermal paste. and alienware tech support in the UK dont send out agents just to do a repaste. you have to wait for your laptop to overheat or have a thermal throttle and then they will investigate and most likely you'll get a new heatsink and a repaste at the same time.. hassle hassle hassle.. LOL. plus you got 2 bloatware to keep in mind that comes along with the laptop.. alienware support assist and the killer network software. you can have more info here:

and this is a video on how to get to the cpu and gpu heatsink to be able to do a repaste.
