Hi!

Check if you've deleted the AlienGUIse Theme Manager from Programs and Features on the Control Pannel.

Check on the HDD for any associated folders that might have been left over:

  • C:\Program Files\Alienware Theme
  • C:\Documents and Settings\A\Application Data\Alienware Theme

Carefully delete registry entries:

  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Alienware Theme
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Alienware Theme

Hey there,

Thanks for your reply. I didn't have those folders anywhere on my C:/, and no alienware related programs in the Programs & Features section of the control panel.

Deleted the registry entries above. Also have disabled all special visual effects for my computer to improve performance. Still the alienware theme is here. What else can I do?

Thanks again,
Pietro

Go to the start menu and search for Stardock My Colors, open the application and look for an option that says Restore Windows Default Theme. You can use this video for reference.
