Upgrading Graphics Card Alienware M17x R2 possible?
Hello guys, I have had my Alienware laptop for a long time now and it's done pretty well for me other than losing my HD which was covered under warranty it's been good. I am going to be building a desktop soon but I still wanna keep my laptop running it works well with all graphics low with hardly any FPS drop in WoW, Overwatch, HOTS etc but I would like to see if it's possible to upgrade the graphics card to something better. And how much it would cost etc and if I would have to send it in? Thanks

Most MXM Blackcomb 3.0 GPU will work in a M17xR2 but they will all require manual fan control, usually done with HWINFO64.
Just keep and eye on the power consumption of any GPU you choose, remember you only have a 240W PSU.
