Command Center 2.6.1.0 is out. Are you plugging the phone into the PC rear USB ports?

The insallation instruction for updating the command center software does not mention uninstallation of the previous version prior to installation of the new.

Am I correct that it is prudent to uninstall, reboot and then install?

I tried the phone on front USB, Rear USB, and Monitor USB and they all shut down the command center and lighting effects. Should also note that when the phone plugs in, ZUNE autostarts on the pc as a "syncing tool"

I'll try uninstalling the CC and then install fresh.

Update / resolution:

I uninstalled the command center manually. Downloaded the newest version you linked in the 2nd post.

Phone plugged in fine and left the software running. I'll monitor it and repost if needed.
