I had the same issue.

I resolved it on Aurora R6 by turning off the "Quick view monitors" on the tray icon and setting the Thermal service recovery to restart service for all 3 recovery settings.

What do you mean by thermal recovery service to  3 recovery services

1) In Win 10 open the start menu and type service, open the services app.

2) Find and double click on the Thermal Control Windows services

3) on teh recovery tab you will see 3 comboboxes for first try, second try, etc set them all to restart the service

4) Click ok.

Remember to left click on the Control Center Thermal control icon and turn off the Quick Tips!

On the quick view settings are they checked or un-checked?

Un-checked is off...

I am on a 4K tv at native resolution for my TV, 3840 x 2160. I dropped the Windows 10 Zoom to 250 from 300. Text size for Icons is at 11, Title text is at 9 and bold.

Does it still crash on you when you do it at 250 zoom

Mine is stable at 250% zoom with the quick temps turned off. Also I have my fans set to manual control.

Check out this thread for my other findings with the Control center on the R6...
