I am also thinking of upgrading to the 1650 and adding different antennas, since my original plugs are half broken anyway.

Did you notice any speed/range differences?

Is the BT version 5 or 5.1 after all? It's state differently depending on where you look.

It’s compatible as my Alienware 15 R1 from early 2015 has the 1650X.

bluetooth 5.0 works great.

Hi,

I bought an Intel WLAN 6 AX200 M.2 non vPro bulk and installed it successfully.
I downloaded the intel WLAN driver package (WiFi_21.120.2_Driver64_Win10.exe) before and after I installed it, the WLAN card became visible and active.

There is an Alienware 15R3 how-to replace the WLAN card which was very helpful. Just notice (that in my laptop) the WLAN card was hidden behind some plastic.

Not sure if it was caused by the install. But after the install the power save options appear to have been changed or reset.

Best regards,

Alcindo

Well you just changed the WiFi card so yeah it’ll do that.

Just to those who were wondering, the BT is indeed 5.1.

Just need to install Intel's driver.
