15 R3, rebuilt using SA USB, only boots on 2nd attempt
After getting my laptop back up and running using the Support Assist USB, and getting all the drivers and software installed, the system will not boot from a cold state. When I first turn it on, it will go to the blue Win 10 logo and just stall there forever. No spinning white dots. I have to hold the power button to kill it, then turn it back on where it boots just fine. I can restart as many times as I want and that works too. It's only after the machine has been powered off for a while that the first boot attempt hangs on the Windows logo.
Any ideas on things I can try to fix this?
Thanks!

I still can't figure this out. I tried repairing the MBR, same thing. If only I could see what is going on when the Windows logo shows up, like a verbose mode that shows output line by line. Is there a way to make the boot process show itself like this?
