17 R2, Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework update

Yesterday I encountered a series of fatal pnp errors after windows decided that it had to install some updates.

Took me considerable time to get back to action until I realized that the problem was  intel dynamic platform thermal framework driver 8.1.10600.  After that and a few system restore points I was finally able to get back and bypass the problem by  installing an update from dell's site for the same driver. The issue is  that update ( 8.1.10603.192_A01) was intended for inspiration laptops not for the Alienware 17r2.

Hours later - after sleeping - I then decided to locate and install what I suppose is the correct version , from dells site, 8.0.10100.71, A00 - that did not work well, with a series of Lore.exe related errors .. and had to get back to the inspiration's 8.0.10100.71, A00 in order to again function- what may or not cause problems in the long run.

So,

1)Is there any updated driver for the 17r2 and Intel dynamic platform thermal framework driver?

2) is having the inspiration's 8.0.10100.71, A00 likely to cause a problem?

PS. I also updated the bios

I have the same problem since a few days. I bypassed it with the safety mode and disabling all dynamic plattform and thermal Framework devices. After that i installed the new windows updates and option intel chipset drivers. In the end my AW works but the DPTF processor participant don‘t work.
I also have not  found a driver that works fine.
