17 R3, BIOS 1.12.0, HK CPU, undervolting?
Noticed a new bios is out. Wanted to know if this new bios would enable undervolting for HK CPU's as previous bios 1.11.0 is disabled.
Can anyone or an Alienware rep answer my question. Thank alot.

Back after the flash. All went well. And regarding the undervolt, According to users who knows their stuff very good, the HK processors has unlocked multiplier and voltage so non-HK CPUs are locked out from undervolting. I have the HK so I should still be able to undervolt. And I do not plan to downgrade anyway, so for me it does not matter if its no longer possible.

Anyone who has a HK CPU updated this bios version and kindly check if undervolting is back and enabled again?

I am amazed on how the dell admin deal with this forum. They are changing the title of my question and even the content so it would looked like Thomas has answered my question. Seriously.
I AM ASKING ABOUT THE HQ PROCESSORS AS THEY ARE LOCKED(meaning not able to overclock) TO SEE IF UNDERVOLTING IS BACK AS THEY HAVE DISABLED IT ON BIOS 1.11.0.
IT IS SO OBVIOUS THAT HK PROCESSOR CAN OVERCLOCK AND UNDERVOLT AS IT IS A UNLOCK PROCESSOR. SO WHY WOULD I ASK ABOUT HK PROCESSOR?
DELL YOUR PRODUCT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A DISGRACE WHICH IS WHY I AM NOT BUYING ANYTHING FROM YOU ANYMORE. THIS LAPTOP THAT I HAVE FROM YOU GUYS IS THE LAST ONE. I WAS JUST HOPING A MEMBER OF THIS FORUM HAS THE SAME CONCERN AND JUST WANTED TO KNOW.
