17 R3, problems installing AWCC and other programs

the first thing that happened to my laptop, the gpu didn't work when i get in on control panel of nvidia and this get crash, and sent it to support to have it repaired, It was reset and I think they updated the operating system.
since then it won't let me install various programs for alienware. at the end of trying to install it sends me a message, "this installation package is not compatible with this computer".

Tell me about which application won’t install and I’ll send you the right drivers.

Hi @MrAnto  the 17 R3 Drivers and Downloads support page is Here. Dell recommends that you click on the [Detect Drivers] and it will customise the support page for your Service Tag. Recommend you download the update application. Then right click on update application and Run as administrator.

Sometimes the application can also give you the same driver that already is installed on your system but yeah, always use the detect option when updating drivers.

Hi @MrAnto  we note in your original comments, that your device has been repaired by Dell and that you do not know what has changed. It is possible that the Dell repair included installation of different hardware and that your 17 R3 Service Tag is now different. Advocate that you install SupportAssist to see if there are any hardware changes and to get your 17 R3 device profile by installing Belarc Advisor from Here

I read that in some laptops, the gpu is attached to the motherboard. And investigated and the factory gpu that it has is a gtx 980m and the one that my laptop currently has is a 970m, I guess it could be that

As for the system model part, it says nothing about system serial number.
and in the part of the main circuit board the only thing it says is serial number: ". .."

Hi @MrAnto  has your Service Tag changed? Does Belarc Advisor say your hardware has changed?

Thats bad if it says Nothing for the serial or service tag. Have you downloaded supportassist and then found out your service tag?

Hi @MrAnto your Service Tag should be on the underside of your Alienware 17 R3. Save your Service Tag in a text file. Go to the Alienware 17 R3 Drivers & Download support page Here. Go to Show downloads by Service Tag for factory-installed components and click to get a new window asking to Enter a Service Tag. Paste your Service Tag into this window and click on Submit. Hopefully the support page will now be customised for your Service Tag and you can save this as a shortcut for future reference.

Hi @MrAnto  please confirm that your Service Tag is listed in your BIOS. To check, Restart and hold down the F2 key, the BIOS will open on the MAIN tab. Look at the Service Tag entry to confirm that your Service Tag is listed. If it is not your Service Tag, update this entry. Your BIOS Product Name entry should be Alienware 17 R3.

He said that the sticker on the bottom of the laptop is messed up so he can’t look at it that way.

Hi @MrAnto  does the BIOS Service Tag match the SupportAssist's Service Tag and/or the Belarc Advisor computer profile's Service Tag?
