17 R4, no media source
I originally started to troubleshoot the busted Ethernet port on the laptop. I downloaded and installed the Dell support assistant and ran some diagnostics test. Then came a light blue screen with message that a critical service stopped and then the laptop rebooted. On the boot screen got message “searching for media source” then message “No media source”. It then booted on to windows 10. After 5 minutes surfing on why getting that message the laptop booted again with same message. I did update the bios but no change. I then foolishly did a windows restart but I thought it was stuck so i did a hard boot. Now I get choose windows installation but still getting the above message. If I choose one of the two options it restarts and same thing
HELP!

Start with the Dell diagnostics -- in particular, run an extended test (this will take some time - it's NOT the quick 10-minute test) on the hard drive.

F12 for ePSA diagnostics and then click esc to exit out of regular test mode and click the extended test.
