Thank you for your assessment and the checks already undertaken. Seemingly the system diagnostics beeps or lights were not activated and this problem occurs for no obvious reason.
Please see if the Reliability Monitor time line is flagging this event on the day and time it occurs. Did not find Dell or Alienware Support video, so have included a third party informative video. Try and track down the reoccurring Microsoft error code, these are usually obscure, so a search on the internet for this error code + problem + solution might provide a clue as to the root cause of this problem. Then forum users can figure out how to fix it for your 17 R4 system.
