I had WHEA errors on a PC, turned out to be the CPU. From what I found its unlikely the SSD.
The CPU (an i7 3770) passed all hardware tests, including an Intel CPU hardware diagnostic. As nothing failed tests I had to just start replacing parts until I found the device that was failing. The PC was a self built and as I do PC repair I had spare parts. I changed power supply, memory and motherboard with no change, finally changed CPU and the WHEA error went away. I sent the CPU to Intel for warranty replacement and feedback from Intel that core #2 was bad.
