17 R5, SSD upgraded, doesn't boot to Windows
Alienware 17 R5
I purchased a new NVMe SSD 1TB to replace the 500GB that came installed. I used Acronis to clone the drive and when I went to swap the drives I just get the Alienware post screen and nothing else boots.
On the first boot, I got a windows boot screen that said it had to repair the disk and then it rebooted and is now stuck on the initial post screen.
I've cloned drives in the past and did a swap but this is the 1st time I don't get a normal boot up. What all should I check?

After you cloned the drive, did you shut down the system, remove the old drive, then restart the system with only the new drive installed? Then if it boots properly you can reinstall the original drive.

I pulled the old one out and replaced it. I managed to get to the BIOS and the system does detect the new drive. However the after the post, I just get the Alienware post screen and nothing more continues.
