17 R5, external keyboard issue
Every external keyboard that i use will drop some key inputs.
I play osu!mania in the esports scene & its very important to me that this does not happen.
The integrated laptop keyboard works flawlessly HOWEVER i do NOT use it once i do prefer external keyboards.
The issue arose about 2 weeks ago. Beforehand external keyboards worked flawlessly.

Is it the external kb a DELL kb?
You can try a system restore back to a date when the external keyboard was working fine.

No its not a Dell KB. I will not do a system restore. I'm currently testing 2 different KB's at the moment attempting to pinpoint the cause of the issue. Though if anything else comes to mind it would be appreciated.

Ok so i have more information.
This issue appears to be related to windows 10.
I just played through the qualifiers in the SOFT4 tournament. 3/4 players in my group where experiencing this same issue.
About 0.01% of inputs are dropped from the testing i've conducted regardless of keyboard used. (including the integrated laptop keyboard)

I'm currently using windows version 1809 (latest update)
Restarting my computer seems to resolve the issue temporarily but only for (on average) 30 minutes.
