17 R5, no supported AlienFX devices were detected, #2

This error showed up after Alienware command center installed the new update! I followed the steps mentioned in the link  -

https://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/04/sln303405/how-to-remove-and-reinstall-the-alienware-command-center?lang=en -

Reinstalling the latest version, after following the steps in the above link did not resolve the issue!

I then proceeded to install the earlier version of command center prior to the update but the issue remains the same!

I have contacted support assist & am awaiting their reply! My support request !

Posting here just in case the community might have a solution!

Same here 17 R5 win 10 / I tried everything listed what i noticed is, that when i went into the bios i selected restore to default save and reset. Booted up, selected alienware comand center and it started up showing as if it was back to normal but with a buffer type icon and a pop up warning to allow 30 seconds for awcc to finish been 15min still showing buffer clock closed it and then went back to displaying no supported alien fx when I started app again .

I had the identical problem. Did you figure out the solution?
