7 beeps on Alienware while turning on
Hi,
My laptop is not switching on and is emitting beeping sounds with a blank screen. There are 7 beeps at regular intervals. I have tried to drain out the invoice excess static battery as per a suggestion on another post but it still doesn’t work. Pls help as I have a lot of important things on my laptop.

The beep code chart is here. 7 Beeps indicates a CPU error. The CPU rarely fails but it could mean a motherboard problem. Have a look at this link and this one.
