AW720M, won't connect to AWCC

Question

Hi, I just recently bought the Alienware AW720M to go with my Alienware X17 and I'm having a hard time with the mouse. I unboxed the mouse and followed the steps and I was expecting the computer to identify the mouse and give me the option to customize the mouse as soon as I plugged it in or on my AWCC. For some weird reason, the AW720M mouse doesn't come up on the AWCC and it's almost like the Alienware computer doesn't recognize it. I've called customer service and after 3-5 hours of talking in circles, I still have this problem. Please let me know if anyone knows how to fix this problem. I spent a lot of money on this Alienware set up and waited months for everything to get here so I'm disappointed that the Alienware Mouse isn't compatible with the Alienware computer.

Please click on Product Support to identify laptop as Alienware x17 R1 or Alienware x17 R2.

Please visit your online Dell account and create Service Request, so that Dell knows that there is a problem to fix. When Dell Technical Support requests online access session, allow them to use their diagnostic applications. They will either fix the system, or provide New replacement system.
