Hi @NotSoDev  welcome to this user to user discussion forum. This is not Dell Support. Please click on Product Support and allow Dell to identify if your system is a laptop, desktop, workstation, etc. so that users know which AWCC application is installed and if AWCC FX tab is for AlienFX or AlienFX 2.0. Thank you.

Is it an Alienware Computer from Alienware? Also I think it needs to have AlienFX 2.0 equipment connected to it from a compatible device for it to work.

I have this kind of problem on my Dell Inspiron G15 5515 which I bought just last week. I downloaded Alienware command center the latest version but it says "No supported AlienFx devices were detected" then the FX tab is missing. I wanted to try to configure my keyboard light RGB but I running out of option. Is this mean that my laptop is not a RGB keyboard? How to check if your keyboard is standard or RGB keyboard?

Hi @Zamuthz welcome to this user to user discussion forum.

Please click on Product Support so that Dell can get your system information. on the RH side, beneath Quick Links, click on View product specs, and a window within window will open with two tabs. The Original Configuration tab is what was manufactured, the Current Configuration tab records any changes and this can be updated by clicking on SupportAssist to view the current configuration of your device.

I did not find the obscure Dell codes offered any clarification, and @DELL-Chris M Private Message provided clarification, to confirm my keyboard has per-key RGB back lighting.

My Alienware laptop is still stuck in dark mode and AWCC Home and FX tab do not appear, and AlienFX 2.0 is not installed.

Hope this helps to find what AlienFX lighting hardware has been installed on your system.

Hi @Zamuthz  this image is an example of the System Configuration's (window-in-window) Original Configuration tab. Click on Expand All, to F3 Search for the "Keyboard" code, etc.

Hi @Zamuthz  thank you for sharing update.

Your system's System Configuration has obscure Dell hardware codes. Check of your invoice to see what you ordered and what was manufactured is difficult. Please click on @DELL-Cares to send Private Message requesting assistance. Thank you.

You have the first 30 days of Approval to request Reject if system has fault or is not what was ordered. Dell Refund policy, New vs Refurbished

Please use your online Dell account get Dell Support to create Service Request for you, so that they know there is a problem and your Reject remedy is (1) new replacement system, or (2) full refund. When system delivered with fault, there is no restocking fee, because it should never have been delivered with fault(s). If remedy is new replacement system, your Dell warranty continues to be active and the first year warranty duration keeps reducing. You must wait for Dell to authorise your Reject remedy, do not return system, Dell will arrange collection.

Hi @Zamuthz  Support for Dell G15 5515 Ryzen Edition says use Alienware Command Center Application (AWCC) Version 5.3.2.0, A00 and its AlienFX 2.0 application. Dell currently does not provide any troubleshoot for the AlienFX 2.0 application. Dell Technical Support has been asked to modify AWCC 5.3.2.0 <ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed from this post by Dell> to install the AlienFX 2.0 application anyway and ignore the Warning: No supported AlienFX devices were detected. This would be a simple solution to get the DELL flagship AWCC to function as advertised.

AWCC Warning.jpg

Your Service Request could include Dell Technical Support installing the fully functional AWCC plus AlienFX 2.0 application. If this is not possible, there is speculation that the EEPROM (non-volatile memory) has failed. Dell's usual response is to install a reconditioned replacement motherboard, but its EEPROM has also probably failed. Having to keep replacing the motherboard is not recommended.

Hi Crimson,

I noticed when I tried to reinstall the Alienware Command Center ver. 5.3.2.0, A00 and it seems only Alienware OC controls and Alienware Command Center Suite were download automatically where it say the package driver is included the AlienFx light manager also. I probably think that Dell G15 5515 has no compatible drivers up until now for my keyboard to run the AlienFX. One more question is there anyway way I could download manually the AlienFX 2.0 Application?

Hi @Zamuthz  thank you for sharing update.

AWCC Fusion tab requires OC Controls, which is on the installed list, so that is good.

AWCC FX tab is supposed to get the resources it needs online. Dell does not allow users to install the AlienFX 2.0 application. When EEPROM on the motherboard has fault, user intervention is not possible, request to Reject system is the only option for users.

It is pointless waiting for the next AWCC update to get the AWCC FX tab to work by installing the AlienFX application, because the broken EEPROM on the motherboard will not accept the update. The Warning: No supported AlienFX devices were detected, will always appear. Manufacture of motherboard's quality control has failed.

Advocate request to Reject this system as soon as possible.
