Alienware 18 P19E Audio Jack Sensing Plugged in but Not, No audio from Front Speakers

HI, I have an Alienware 18 P19E with Win 10 and Realktek High Def Audio.

My Issue is the left hand Audio jack is telling me something is plugged in and hence I get no sound from front speakers. I have run audio test in BIOS and speakers do work..

I have gone through the following

Change drivers

Turn off enhancements

Change driver again

Check Registry entries

Re-install OS

All to no avail.

Thinking the issue was the Soundboard (LS-933FP) I changed it out. After checking again I was surprised to see the same issue. Same Jack, same problem.

I then purchased another LS-933FP sound board and ..... yes same issue.

Not sure what to do about this..

Question. Are the Jack sensors actually on the LS-933FP Soundboard or the Alienware mainboard.

I am told the sensor are software driven, is there a way to correct this.
