17 R4, battery exploded
I bought Alienware 17 R4 almost 3 1/2 years ago on December 1, 2017. It was working fine but last night. It's battery exploded I nearly saved myself from burning. I'm trying to reach their support but there is no way to do that. What should I do about this ? I also have a full video of the event.

I've tried that link but they are not taking any queries as warranty is expired but even if it is expired it is not supposed to explode. Now, please tell me who can handle my request.

Hi @AhmadBukhari welcome to this user to user discussion forum. This is not Dell Support.
Hope that you have not been hurt. Please consult the safety requirements for Handling swollen Lithium-ion batteries Here.
The battery warranty expires after first year. If there is a current extended Dell Warranty in place, contact Dell Product Support from within your Dell Account, a fault report will be created and this problem will be addressed.
If there is currently no extended Dell warranty, the house insurance policy might accept a claim.

Hi @AhmadBukhari as already explained this is a user to user discussion forum and not Dell Support. The are a few reported examples of a Lithium-ion Battery exploding, not unique to Dell systems. If you use a Lithium-ion Battery in any of your devices, it is implicit that you accept the risk.

It isn't clear what you're requesting. You won't get a replacement system at this point, nor a replacement battery.
And it's exceedingly rare for batteries to suddenly burst without warning -- at any rate, if there has been damage done, contact your insurance provider (and of course a health professional if there are any physical effects).
