Alienware India configurations

I would like to bring to notice that Alienware India laptop configurations just stink. When they launched m15 R3, I was expecting to buy one.

Looking at the available configurations, all I could find was a GTX 1660 with 300Hz or an OLED screen with RTX variants. Even 32GB ram isn't available.

For anyone in India wishing to buy a gaming laptop, it just isn't feasible with Alienware. It's better to go for other vendor in India. I hope Dell fixes this configuration mess.

For the m15 r2 and r3 the ram is limited to 16gb here aswell from what I'm guessing because of how thin the device is. And the ram is soldered on the motherboard so no upgrade there.

Yeah I am not complaining for non upgradability. I accept the fact that they would have to solder the ram. But why not make the 32 GB ram variant available in the country. They are selling it in other countries. Same with the weird screen configuration

It does sound weird, why would they pair a 1660Ti with a 300Hz display?

Well to be honest. I’ve had a 1660Ti and it’s made for a 144Hz display at 1080p.

anything higher is made for 4K 120Hz.
