Alienware Update Keeps Bugging Me to Install an Update I Neither Want nor Need
In the last couple of weeks, Alienware Update has been bugging me to install an "updated" nVidia driver for my m15 R3. The "critical" driver is several generations old and I have been using nVidia's own drivers since I bought the PC. Does anyone know if there is a way to remove a driver update from a PC's queue (other than un-checking it)? I'm afraid that, some day when there is a legitimate update (like BIOS 1.11.0), I'll inadvertently install the "bad" nVidia update (which, frankly, I have already done by mistake and had to back out).

I have the same problem on my M17R4, an Nvidia drive from Sept 23,2021, I think. I also update directly thru Nvivia. I can't find a way to get rid of it. Anyone?

We tried reaching you on a private message asking for the Service Tag number to ascertain the warranty but did not receive a response. Please feel free to reply to the private message whenever you are available.

Are there any suggestions for how to get rid of an unwanted (and inferior) update to nVidia graphics? At least two people would love to know.
