@crimsom well, went straight to supportAssist app, and after checking after new drivers and Downloads, i found that there is a new update for ACC and the OC tools.
this ones:
- Dell Update/Alienware Update Application for Windows 10 - A00 - 27.3 MB
- Alienware OC Controls Application - A00 - 76.44 MB -
- Dell/Alienware Digital Delivery Application - A18 - 82.08 MB
- SupportAssist OS Recovery Tools - - 180 MB
after the installation of them, and the reboot of the laptop, everything it's normal!
thanks for your help!

Hi @Kaitz note that your AWCC & OC Controls versions are also used by my laptop. Our AWCC FX tab is not working and the AlienFX 2.0 applications are not installed. Want to troubleshoot this problem. Please send Private Message with copy of AlienwareAlienFXTester.exe that is located in the 'C:\Program Files\Alienware\Command Center\' folder. Thank you in anticipation.

Hi @Kaitz thank you for looking for AlienwareAlienFXTester and your screenshot. The Dell video says that this where the AlienwareAlienFXTester is installed. Sorry to have troubled you.
Dell should update their AWCC video to include AlienFX 2.0 applications. @DELL-Cares

Hi @DELL-Chris M is it true that the NEW AWCC AlienFX 2.0 suite of applications does not deploy the AlienwareAlienFXTester.exe?

Hi @Kaitz thank you for sharing update. We followed your solution.
SupportAssist and Alienware both say there are no updates. We used your "shopping list of applications", and the missing Dell-Alienware-Digital-Delivery-Application-A18 was installed. SupportAssist should have said this application is missing. Its inability to find updates is not a new problem on our system. The SupportAssist application was reinstalled/repaired and reported that it was already up to date.
After Restart, ran AWCC which showed all the tabs, but then Microsoft Store update processing removed the AWCC FX tab (again). We searched for AlienwareAlienFXTester, but did not find it. Perhaps this NEW AWCC AlienFX 2.0 suite of applications does not deploy the AlienwareAlienFXTester.exe?

That video from October 2017 does not specify which version of AWCC they are using. But shows the location. So if you drill down in whatever version of AWCC you are running and do not see it, they must have phased it out.
This article from January 2021, Alienware Command Center Quick Guide, doesn't mention AlienFXTester.
The Alienware YouTube page shows zero results when searching for AlienFXTester.

crimsom,
I was just told that AWCC 5.XX does not contain the AlienwareAlienFXTester.exe module. But didn't you test a bunch of the 4.XX and 3.XX and conclude that the AlienwareAlienFXTester.exe module was also missing from them?

Hi @DELL-Chris M thank you for your quick response.
Yes, but there are now changes because Windows Update has installed Windows 10 Pro, version 20H2 and its Windows Security finds fault with OC Controls. When AWCC + OC Controls installed all four AWCC tabs are included, but AWCC Service Running interface with Microsoft Store removes AWCC Home and FX tabs. How can users troubleshoot the NEW AWCC AlienFX 2.0 suite?

Windows 10 Pro, version 20H2 does not like Dell SupportAssist Remediation Service and this problem occurs many times every day.

That is unknown by me. On my March 2016 Area-51 R2 desktop running Windows 10 2004, I am using the December 2017 AWCC 4.8.25.0. It doesn't look anything like the Laptops AWCC versions. I have to rely on the Laptop users out here to offer guidance on the Laptops versions. Honestly, I removed all of the SupportAssist apps many years ago. The only drivers I have ever updated were for my Nvidia GeForce Titan X video card and using the free Intel DSA (Driver Support Assistant).

Hi @DELL-Chris M thank you for sharing update.
Appreciate your candour on what is used on your Area-51 R2. Our laptop is not in the same AWCC & OC Controls Compatibility Systems group and has a different Windows 10 operating system. Just speculating that there may be a thread dealing with this problem, that you might have interacted with.
We do not know how users can troubleshoot the NEW AWCC AlienFX 2.0 suite. Thank you.

I was also having this problem. I solved this by turning off "Core Isolation" / "Memory Integrity" with the toggle button under Windows 11 Device protection in Windows Security. Hope it helps others.
