Area-51m, disable lighting on touchpad?

Is it possible to disable the lighting on the touchpad? I use my laptop late at night and try to minimize bright lights so I can sleep a little easier later. However, whenever I make contact with the touchpad to just move the cursor a little bit, it lights up super bright for a good while. I set the lights on my keyboard to dark but it doesn't stop the light up on the touchpad at all. Help?

It seems the issue is related to how the AWCC is installing the Add ons. The thing is that Microsoft changed the builds in the new Windows 10 updates that are creating conflicts with the APP and so far Microsoft has not been able to address the issue. 

Perform a clean uninstall of the AWCC by following this video, however, do not attempt to install the version from the Microsoft store, just make sure to remove the APP as shown on the video. After doing that, make sure to restart the system. Once again in Windows, download the AWCC version from the Dell Website and the OC controls. First install the AWCC version, make sure to select complete installation, restart the system and then install the OC controls, restart again.
