That cable is for the Bluetooth card as per this support page (see page 10 specifically).

Thank JOcean for your speedy reply, i dont have this Bluetooth card .. probably the previous owner who did not put it back. I must say I recovered this computer in a sorry state.I will look to buy one ..thanks again.

They often didn't come with the additional Bluetooth card as the wifi adapter would have BT included.
