I bought new ram for my 17 r3 and only one of the 16 gb sticks is working, I've checked that both sticks are good and they were. The laptop just won't let me put both of them in at the same time. I've updated the bios and restarted it but I still get the 4 beeps problem.

Is it the same RAM slot that will not accept the RAM card?
Dell says RAM Configurations supported 8 GB, 12 GB, and 16 GB.
Users say get Corsair RAM for 2 x 16GB = 32GB configuration.
