alienware 17 r4

have overheat isues 1080gtx i7 8720hk its under waarnity gived them my laptop asked fix they told me 100 degrese is normal temp....

So to be clear you explained the temps are at 100C correct? Have a look at the charts here and notice that 100C is the Throttle Temp. So at 100C the CPU will reduce core speed and voltage to prevent thermal damage. You would see a definite decrease in performance. That is very hot. I would invest in a good cooling pad to move more air through the system and keeps temps down. And being under warranty you must deal with Dell tech support in an effort to correct the temp problem.
