It Will stop using the battery but when your using it, it’s going to drop a little bit then it recharged again then it drops a bit and then it recharges again.

I looked and saw my system drew 0 watts when doing a stress test because the wattage came from the power supply instead of the battery.

Thanks. So what would the best option to used? Should I used "adaptive" profile or "Primarily Use AC" from the bios settings? I always used the laptop with plugged charger, others are saying Primary Use AC will affect the system very bad. Based on dell documentations, no much information based on Primarily Use AC and Adaptive. Primarily AC — Extends battery life by lowering the charge threshold, so that the battery never charges to 100 percent capacity. Recommended for users who primarily operate the system while plugged into an external power source. Adaptive — Automatically optimizes battery settings based on the user’s typical patterns. Recommended for users who want to “set it and forget it.”

Because it’s an automated message and only responds when you give it your service tag.

Id use the adaptive setting because it adjusts to whatever your doing at that moment.

Hi even i always connect my power adapter 240W charger connect to my laptop. It's ok to used as Adaptive Settings at BIOS as default by alienware? It will not bloated my battery since it stops charging if 100% fully charge?

Yup, if you want to save the battery even more! Just right click the battery icon and enable desktop mode.

They’ll reply to you when they read it.

The desktop mode is a software made by dell to save the battery and stop charging immediately at 100% or 80%.

I have similar question about stop charging when battery at full charged. I right click the battery icon but cannot see the "desktop mode" to select, only two tab show up "Power Options" and "Window Mobility". How can I activate the "desktop mode"?

Also, in my M15R3 laptop BIOS setting, the Advance Battery Control is currently set at "disable", should it better in "enable"?

What is the different on Fan Performance control in enable and disable in BIOS setting?

Fan performance mode is maxing out the fans incase you set it into performance mode for the CPU. Its just to cool it better.
