m15 R3, problem AWCC Fusion, CPU/DRAM show 0.00, solved

Question

Hi all, I bought an Alienware m15 R3 ten months ago. One day I found Alienware Command Center displays the frequencies of CPU and GPU as 0 (zero). I uninstalled and reinstalled AWCC bunch of times by suggestion from Dell Customer Service, but no luck. I tried lodctr / in CMD(administrator) window, it didn't help. I found a clue today and I finally solved the problem. I uninstalled Avast Premium Security and AWCC works great. Disabling shield control of Avast doesn't work at all. Only uninstallation of Avast put AWCC back to right position. It may help you if you have the same trouble. Seung.

Sorry, you're right. I don't know how to edit the title.

AWCC shows CPU and Memory clock as 0(zero) not GPU frequency.

I don't use McAfee and already have subscribed AVAST before buying laptop.

Before installing Avast, there wasn't any single problem with frequency display matter.

CPU OVERVIEW/GPU OVERVIEW/MEMORY CLOCK

The picture you provided of AWCC Fusion shows 0.00 for CPU and Memory DRAM. The GPU shows 360MHz. So the correct thread title should be =

Based on the m15 R3 private service tag number, we did not ship Avast. We shipped it with McAfee LiveSafe.

Prior to installing Avast Premium Security, did AWCC Fusion have this issue?
