Well what I recommend for you is just run the game and see what speeds you currently run at and then slowly start increasing by +5Mhz until you reach the limit. Take in mind the AC adapter has to probably 330w to get maximum performance and also your thermals have to be below 78C to prevent the throttling.
It could be, but since overclocking is never a guaranteed function, it's not really an issue at all. Some GPUs simply cannot be overclocked, and given the current global shortage of GPUs, it's entirely conceivable that those GPUs being shipped now may be lacking the margin for overclocking that units shipped when the supplies were plentiful once had.
Also bear in mind that these systems run hot to begin with -- adding additional thermal load to them may decrease your chances of running beyond specification.
Hi @MilkTeaKiwi Dell has provided information for Alienware Overclocking, and this is applicable to the Alienware m15. Dell BIOS updates also lock out Intel CPU performance in response to inability to fix the Intel plundervolt vulnerability. Its getting increasingly difficult to know what attributes can be changed using the Dell AWCC application.
