Hello,

I spent 1.5 hours on the phone with Dell before being told it's an HP dock, so I should call them. The docking station worked with my last Dell Alienware laptop and my HP laptop. The keyboard and mouse work when I plug in the docking station, but the monitors will not power on. I saw the fix posted for the R6, is there a fix for the R5?

None of the Alienware Laptops were validated/tested with Dell Docks. Of course this also means that none of the Alienware Laptops were ever tested on non-Dell Docks. Alienware Laptops and Dell Docks

Is there any resolution for this, my Alienware m15 Ryzen Edition R5 will not recognize the dock as a docking station, only as a usb hub, but it worked with a different dell latitude 7420
