m15 R6, Dell giving out faulty heatsinks

My laptop had been thermal throttling for 3 months. I finally got dell to send a technician, who came and replaced the heatsink. Turns out, it increased the temperatures even more, so I opened it and found the heatsink was missing 3 screws. And when I looked closely, I saw that there was no way to fit those screws in the heatsink, so it had been lifted up a little the whole time. When I tried tightening screws more around the CPU, the shape of the heatsink made it impossible for the motherboard to be assembled in the case (image 3). So right now, my laptop is still overheating, and my heatsink only allows for 3 screws to be tightened in it, and the other 3 slots are dislocated because of its faulty shape. Horrible quality of service from dell.

Update = After completing troubleshooting, a DELL-Cares agent setup service.

Hi @DarkerTime  thanks for a very good OP with images of damage, complete with your circles highlighting the many 'missing' screws.

Without doubt a truly dreadful job by this Dell contractor. Dell provides a 100% guarantee that their assigned contractor undertakes a professional job. This contractor should not have departed because their job has not been competently finished. It has all the hallmarks of being vandalised by this contractor. This should never happen, shame on Dell.

Get your photographic evidence included within new Dell Service Request. Your Alienware m15 R6 is now in such a mess, that Dell are obligated to provide a new replacement Alienware m15 R6. Make a Formal Compliant within Service Request and request escalation to that Dell tier that can authorise replacement or full refund. Remember to salvage your drives so that you do not loose their content.
