Hi @RevSym for Alienware m15 R6 the Alienware Command Center (AWCC) version 5.0 and higher, you will find the thermal controls within the Fusion tab. The Processors supported by your Alienware m15 R6 are intentionally designed for performance and can reach temperatures of up to 100°C. Check to see which thermal controls have your option to keep your system at lower temperatures with reduced performance.

Hi @RevSym !

Here is what to do:

1. Check what version your BIOS is on. Alienware m15 R6 System BIOS | Driver Details | Dell UK

2. Check what version AW Command center is on and if its old then update it with a newer version. <ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed from this post by Dell>

3.This should be the real fix as it directly controls thermals and fans. Intel Dynamic Tuning Driver | Driver Details | Dell UK

Hope I could help and let me know if any issues occur after setting the fan profile to quiet in AW command center.
