m15 R6, keyboard pop up in Google Chrome
How to turn off this annoying keyboard that keeps poping up when I type anything on Google Chrome?
This is not the same as touch/screen keyboard in settings. They look different and it is not the same story.
I also don't have any "TheHiveMinds" options that you talked about in 2015/2016 forums.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I believe that the setting you're mentioning is the Prediction Service included in now almost all browsers. You can follow these steps for it.
Just open the Chrome menu > Settings > Show advanced settings (at the bottom). Under Privacy, uncheck "Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar."
That should take care of it.

I highly recommend checking out these two links for this issue in chrome:
how do i stop the onscreen keyboard from popping up on my chromebook? - Chromebook Community (google.com)
Use the on-screen keyboard - Chromebook Help (google.com)
And if any other issues occur or you need help just let me know!
