I also experienced the flickering issue on day 1 on a new M15 r6. However I found a fix from Nvidia that seems to be working:

After updating to NVIDIA Game Ready Driver 461.09 or newer, some desktop apps may flicker or stutter when resizing the window on some PC configurations

No more flickering when resizing Edge or Chrome windows now. I was glad to discover this was a software and not a hardware issue.

I have the same issue, I have tried several ways unlike you did. Also, my dual monitor display is not detecting. Not sure, if this happened after BIOS update or something wrong with NVidia GPU.

Hi @Jeremy_007 @alfahad !

"Just received the laptop. The screen flickers and goes black when I drag the Edge browser page. Tried to reinstall the system, reinstalled the GPU driver but is not working."

I would recommend running these commands on the command prompt as an admin:

sfc /scannow

chkdsk /r

chkdsk /f

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I also recommend installing GeForce Experience or if you already have it, install the game ready driver and select custom installation and check the box that says reinstall graphics driver.

Same issue just received the laptop few days ago. Screen flickering while I drag chrome. Tried the commands and reinstall geforce exp. The problem remains

I use DDU to uninstall both Intel UHD driver and Nvidia Driver, for now, the problem magically disappears. Hope this will help you.

The problem doesn’t occur randomly from time to time. It’s only when I tried to resize, drag browser and some apps. And the problem disappear after I close the browser. For apps I would need to restart and wait it out. I tried custom install GeForce driver.

Hi @Ruoy !

Thats definitley a hardware issue of some sort. does the issue still occur during an ePSA test? Enter it by restarting the laptop and pressing F12 until a boot menu appears.

I haven’t reinstall Intel UHD driver. The problem I believe is because the two wasn't compatible. Causing them to fight over which display to show

I just disabled Nvidia display on device manager. The problem seems to disappear as of right now when I try to drag chrome. Hope they would update something.

I think so because when the problem happens, it only affects the internal screen; it won't have any wrong with the external screen, which directly connects to HDMI output.

Hi @Ruoy @Jeremy_007 !

That seems like a Display issue or just an issue with the GPU.

I'm not sure if this is the flicker expressed in this thread but this is what I experienced 1 day after receiving the laptop while using Microsoft Edge.
