I highly recommend you try to do a power drain which is unplugging all devices from the laptop including charger and opening up the back panel to unplug the battery and hold the power button for 30 seconds and then plug everything back in to see if that works.
And if you have the option to do so, remove all RAM from the computer before doing the power drain.
