m15 R1, iGPU not detected by Nvidia when external monitor connected

When I connect my monitor to my Alienware m15 (out of warranty August 21, 2020, i7 8750H, GTX 1060) via HDMI port (I'm using an hdmi to vga converter as my monitor is very old and has only vga port), in Nvidia Control Panel (under "Setup multiple displays") only the external monitor is visible under "Select the displays you want to use

Similarly, when I launch OBS Studio and add a "Display Capture" and add my laptop display in "Source", it shows a blank screen, whereas my external monitor is perfectly visible.

I had a Dell G3 3579 before, and when I connect any external monitor (even the same monitor that I used with the Alienware) then both, my external monitor and my laptop's display automatically switches to the dedicated Nvidia GPU. The same isn't happening with my Alienware.

During my meetings, I am not able to share my laptop's whole screen, as it isn't detected my Google Meet.

Please guide me to a solution.
