Sounds like a intermittend connection of the ID-signal (the 3rd lead in the cable) coming from the AC adapter.
Inspect the DC jack or the DC plug center pin closely.
Use the BIOS setup screen as diagnosis tool

It was charging before i took it apart but once i gotnm it back together it stopped all that

Sound like you short your board when you took it a part.
If you're still under warranty, contact Dell.

Can you check and see if your laptop might have a BIOS update pending? You can find the latest BIOS(and older revisions for cross referencing) here.
