m17 R3, Windows 11, cannot install AWCC

I get there can be internet connectivity issues installing AWCC. I’m on Windows 11. Only use my computer for gaming, can’t use it because the fans are on low. And can’t get into fusion to change the speeds. So can someone help me out? Fix your products before making people upgrade to them, that’s what happened in the first place. Made me upgrade and then now I can’t use it. Now I have to buy a $40 cooler for the laptop with their own fans. Because before it was running at 65, and now since I don’t have access to fan speed it sits at 95. I spent $1800 on this machine and got 2 years out of it.

Hi @Esmith316 welcome to this free user-to-user Alienware laptop discussion forum.

The Free MD5 & SHA Checksum Utility or similar can be used to verify the checksum value of downloaded file before installation.

The Revo Uninstaller Free should be used to remove existing Dell AWCC application followed by Advanced Scan to remove multiple files, folders, and/or Registry entries left on your system. Then Restart (not Shut Down) to save change. Reinstall AWCC after allowing two days for operating system to automatically find and fix any corrupted files.

Users have reported that the SpeedFan utility and its enable Dell Support option can be used to control fan speeds. SpeedFan 4.52 Download | TechSpot
