m17 R3, battery problems and MANY MORE
Ok, there are several problems that I have on the list that are happening to me. Starting off, I have a 2020 m17 R3, I got it in the summer of that same year. So I am not yet a year with her.
Now, the problems;
1. It has already happened to me on a couple of occasions where when turning it on, it throws me a message in the BIOS: WARNING: The battery cannot be identified. The system will be unable to change this battery.
After hitting Ok, enter the Window and act like nothing.
2. Also being the battery, it has happened to me on several occasions that I am playing or doing something, and out of nowhere the LED lights on the keyboard turn off, and the LED starts to change colors, specifically from red to blue. When I see the symbol of the battery, it appears that it is 100%, but when I click it, it says that it has 255% plugin in. In the times that it has done this to me, it is connected to the charger. I unplug it and restart it, and it's back to normal.
3. I always get a "Optimize PC" and "Drivers and Updates" message. I click them and they send me to the Alienware Assistant, the problem is that it does not load me, it opens the application but it remains blank and does not let me do anything else. So look for the latest updates on the official website, download and install them. But whenever I turn on the laptop, it throws these messages at me.
4. The Alienware FX does not update, whenever I open it and it tells me that it has an update, I give it to update, about 20 seconds later it throws an error that it could not be updated that I try later. In turn, if I try to do something, modify the fans, sound, or something else, except the LEDs, it does not let me do anything, even sometimes, nor do they load me with any of the options.
So far those are the things he has. And despite all that it continues to work as normal, but it still worries me, since obviously it is not normal. Another thing, this is already a doubt, not a problem, I want to give it an "upgrade", because it only has a 515GB SSD, and I want to buy a 1T, but I'm not sure if I can open the PC without affecting the warranty , also which SSD should I buy exactly.
If someone can help me, especially with the 4 problems I have, please, it is the only PC I have, and it is not only for games, but also for my studies and work.
