m17 R3, not powering on
m17 R3 will not power on after updating windows (I believe).
After closing the lid and opening it. It will light up but never make it past the Alienware screen. Literally shuts off after 3 seconds.
I've tried the 30 seconds on the power power button. Power button is simply "cold".
Unplugging the adapter. And plugging it back in.
Everything worked fine 20minutes prior to all of this.

Unplug the adapter and then disconnect the main battery from the system board. Hold the power button for 30 seconds.
Then reconnect the battery and see if the system will POST.

Welcome to the Dell Community @Danii120
Have you tried the BIST???
Hold down the "D" key, push the power button, release the power button, wait 2-3 seconds and release the "D" key
The laptop should go through an LCD test of solid White, Red, Green, Blue and Black 2 or 3 times.
After completion it should try to automatically boot 2 or 3 times.
Post any results,

I recommend you press F12 when it boots and also if that doesn’t work I recommend you do this.
Make sure the laptop is fully off by pressing the power button for 10 seconds.
then unplug the battery and the cmos battery as well.
then remove all the RAM sticks and place them on a non conductive surface, hold them by the sides.
then hold the power button and then go back and reconnect the CMOS battery - Battery - RAM sticks. Then try turning it on when connected to the adapter.
